Workshop with the residents at No.10 Nicholson

One of my main aims for the project was that I wanted to involve the residents as much as possible at each stage. This was in order for them to feel that they played their part in the final solution. I want the residents to take ownership of the installation and feel proud to return home to this building.
I ran the workshop with a friend and we explored ‘marbling’ and ‘mark-making’ techniques with the residents. The idea was to generate visuals that I could then translate into a final design and brighten up the windows on the communal stair. The results were amazing and varied.
